Introduction to RJ Zavoral and Sons

Since 1951, R.J. Zavoral and Sons, Inc. has been moving the earth all over the Red River Valley. Over the past 58 years, our company has grown from a one man dozer operation to a major heavy-highway contractor. Robert John Zavoral came to the Red River valley in 1951 to fight a spring flood. One job led to another and he never left. Family has always been at the core of the business, then and now, as we expand and as the third generation starts to get involved. Our employees feel like part of our extended family as many of them have been with us for more than 15 years. We are grateful for their loyalty and commitment; their experience and hard work has been key to our success as an organization.
